Expanding the service of CEYCERT
CEYCERT applied for scope extension recently of several sub scopes under the scheme of ISO 9001:2015 and successfully completed the assessment by the Sri Lanka Accreditation Board (SLAB)
Another milestone achieved
We are happy to announce that CEYCERT is being awarded accreditation for ISO 17065:2012 standard by the Sri Lanka Accreditation Board (SLAB) to offer Product Certifications against the scheme Sri Lanka Organic Certification (SLS 1324:2018) to organic farms, plantations, producers, manufactures, processers and exporters. Organic production is an overall system which combines best environmental practices for organic farm management and production by minimizing the use of external inputs and avoiding synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.
The standard stipulates requirements for Organic Agriculture Production and Processing and it further prescribes requirements for production, wild harvest, post-harvest handling, transportation, packaging, labelling and marketing of organic agriculture.
The milestone achievement is a beginning of a long journey to offer Product Certifications and there will be more schemes in the pipeline to cater various product certification requirements of prospective clients locally as well as internationally.
Entering to SLAB Accreditation
CEYCERT (Private) Limited has been awarded its accreditation in compliance with ISO 17021-1: 2015 standard recently to offer its Food Safety Management System Certifications on parr with ISO 22000:2018 and quality management system in parr with ISO 9001:2015 to industries by the Sri Lanka Accreditation Board (SLAB), the national accreditation body.
The certificate was presented by Dr. Sampath Wahala, the Chairman of the SLAB, together with Ms. Chandrika Thilakaratne, CEO of SLAB to the Director of CEYCERT.

Certificate awarding ceremony on presenting the certificate on ISO 9001:2015 to Savikma Automation & Engineering Services (Pvt) Ltd. Savikma is an industrial automation company, serve to the Srilankan industries, mainly tea factories, garment sector, printing and other industries.
Tea Re-processing Centers are certified as a concept of CEYCERT. Initial awarding ceremony on HACCP certification for Tea Re-Processing centers of Diggala Tea Factory, Goldefield Tea Factory, Glomerx Tea Factory and Tea House Tea Factory held successfully.
CEYCERT presented the ‘Certificate of Conformity’ incompliance with ISO 9001:2015 to Napronet Pvt Limited. Mr. D. Siripala – Managing Director of Napronet Pvt Limited received the certificate from Mr. S. Manchanaike, Director, CEYCERT Pvt Ltd.
Napronet is a global manufacturer and exporter of coir fiber and pith-related products. The certificate reflects compliance with their Quality Management System in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard requirements which is vital for all interested parties of their business.
